POLICY STATEMENT
DISABILITY DISCRIMINATION ACT
In accordance with the 1995 Disability Discrimination Act (DDA), Elgin City FC Ltd. is committed to ensuring that disabled customers have the best possible access to the goods and services provided by the Club.
The Club recognises that not all facilities are fully accessible to disabled customers and that in several instances a substantial capital investment would be required to rectify this anomaly.
However the Club will, whenever possible, seek to minimise any disadvantage.
Elgin City provides safe access to a covered enclosure for disabled spectators in wheelchairs and their carers. The enclosure is located close to catering facilities and toilets with disabled access.
Disabled customers who are not wheelchair bound but who require assistance on entry to the Stand will be admitted through the Directors entrance under the guidance of Stewards.
Club Stewards are on hand to advise and assist as and when required.
Elgin City FC grant free admission to any wheelchair bound spectator and their carer whether home, neutral or away support.
The Club will, in full consultation with Capability Scotland, continue to strive to improve access to all facilities for our disabled customers.
