Elgin City are through to the ITP North of Scotland Cup Final at Forres on Sunday 16th September thanks to a screamer from Shally in tonight's game against County.

It was City who took the lead first with Craig Frizzell, the winger on loan from Victoria Park, who powered past Graham Girvan and drilled a shot into the bottom corner. Mark Smith poked in the second from a Cammy cross from the right and Elgin looked quite comfortable at half time.

But the young County side came back well and their sub Cooper headed in at the back post. They had a lot of chances to level, although Frizz, Rusty and Cammy missed decent ones for Elgin. Then with one minute to go, another sub Allan popped another header in and it looked like extra time.

But City got a free kick 30 yards out and Shallicker put a cracker into the top right hand corner from 30 yards out.  At last the Elgin supporters get something to cheer about.
