Elgin City FC Community Football coaches played against the parents of the children they coach throughout the year. This was the first ever event that will now take place annually to help raise funds for the football activities that the children attend.
The parents did well with their best efforts but it was the skill and showmanship of the coaches that won the game 7-3. There was also a fun penalty shoot out at the end, which the coaches only narrowly won 2-1.
Over £200 has been raised so far with more donations still coming in. The Coaches would like to thank all the parents for participating and receiving sponsors as well as all the families and children for supporting both teams on and also the solo vuvuzela for creating an atmosphere at the game.
