Graeme Bell (22, 49)
Lewis Sloan (37)
Shane Sutherland (27, 58)
David Smith (90)

Elgin scored a last-minute equaliser to snatch a point in a entertaining 3-3 draw at Annan.  Just as the hosts looked set to take all three points, Elgin's David Smith curled brilliant shot into the bottom corner with almost the last kick of the game.

The home side took the lead after 22 minutes through Graeme Bell, who scored for the fourth game running.  The striker drilled the ball home from the edge of the area after Chris Jardine's blocked shot fell kindly into his path.

However the lead lasted all of five minutes as the visitors responded positively. An outswinging corner was not dealt with by the the Annan defence and the ball fell to the feet of a grateful Shane Sutherland who poked home from six yards out.

Annan restored their advantage on 37 minutes when Bell turned provider. The striker collected the ball on the left played a ball into the path of Lewis Sloan whose shot found the bottom right-hand corner.

Sloan repaid the favour early in the second period as the winger found Bell with a left-wing cross, and the striker produced a cracking shot to leave  John Gibson helpless in the Elgin goal.

But the visitors refused to roll over and pulled a goal back just before the hour mark with Sutherland drilling home from 12 yards out for his second of the game.

Sutherland then helped break Annan hearts as he played the ball into the path of Smith who finished superbly in the dying seconds.
