A lone Stephen Maguire goal was enough to see off Elgin City and keep East Stirling in the hunt for promotion to Division Two thanks to a 1-0 win.
Elgin will feel hard done by after creating numerous chances but failing to score, and ultimately paying the price for not doing so. Maguire`s goal came from close range on 51 minues, Craig Donaldson setting him up with a pass from the right. Elgin were a constant threat to keeper Jamie Barclay's goal, as Paul Kaczan, David A Craig and Shane Sutherland all forced him into important saves in both halves. Barclay's most important intervention came four minutes from time, as Craig's strike from 18 yards was parried by the East Stirling keeper to secure his side the points.
The Moray Men remain four points clear of bottom team Montrose as they also lost to Forfar 2-0.
