CITY'S play-off clinching victory over Montrose provided the Black and White faithful with the perfect scenario to enter into the spirit for the annual Supporters' Club Player of the Year awards in the Social Club.
The players, management, guests and fans who packed the function suite were all still bathing in the afterglow of that afternoon's history-making win as deputy skipper David Niven collected the Supporters' Player of the Year trophy.
The Players' Player of the Year award went to Daniel Moore – named in the PFA Scotland Third Division team of the year - with midfield colleague Brian Cameron picking up the Young Player gong.
Manager Ross Jack paid tribute to all the players who had contributed to the achievement of reaching the play-offs and acknowledged the tremendous backing the team had received from the supporters throughout the season.
Chairman Graham Tatters acknowledged the superb job the management team of Ross and assistant Barry Wilson had done and made special mention of the many folk who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to keep the club going.
