The board of Directors are pleased to announce that Robbie Hope has been appointed as a full time Community Football Coach with Elgin City F.C.. He has been employed to lead and develop the delivery of the community football program for the club going forward.

This position will allow the development and the link between the community and the club. He will be responsible for providing football events within the local community as well as finding through research, funding and grants for the club from the relevant organisations. The board has researched the commercial viability of such a post and are delighted that they have secured a man who possesses the essential aptitude to deliver the required standards.

It is also the intention for him to assist the commercial and administration teams where possible having the desirable skills in abundance. He takes up his position with the club on September 1st 2007 and from then in we will have the facility to identify younger players than our current 11 years and pass them to our youth department headed by Charlie Charlesworth. Along with the board, we ask if everyone wishes him well in our new venture.
