Elgin crashed to their seventh straight loss including four on the bounce at home. They led at the break thanks to sub Jason Crooks goal, and dominated play throughout the first half. But a dismal second half performance led to the visitors hitting back through an Armand One double to take all three points.
Crooks goal came just a few minutes after replacing the injured David Niven. He was in the right place to knock home the rebound after skipper Paul Kaczan hit the bar from a corner.
Stranraer keeper David Mitchell also did well to block from Craig Gunn and hold a Kaczan header, before a superb fingertip stop from Gavin Morrison just before half time.
John Gibson also did well to touch over an One header, but the striker had his revenge on 67 minutes with a powerful effort off a Steven Noble cross midway through the second half.
One blazed over another chance as Elgin wilted, but got the winner twelve minutes from time. He ran onto a long ball from the back and drew Gibson before rolling against the inside of the post, before reacting quickest to the loose ball and prodding home.
