Ross Jack - Manager

New to management but with coaching qualifications and experience second to none.  Ross was highly respected SFA coach for many years and after spells at the Scottish Intitute of Sport and Ross County, he feels he is ready to manage his own team.  A fantastic attitude and a great believer in fitness where he can still hold his own with the squad

Zander Clark - Goalkeeper.

Ex Hamilton Accies youngster who is currently on loan to City from St. Johnstone FC. Stands 6 feet 4 inches tall,  an athletic and vocal young goalkeeper who has all the attributes to make a great impact at senior level.

John Calder - Goalkeeper.

Former Peterhead shot-stopper joined Elgin City from Junior side Deveronside in the January 2011 transfer window. The 22 year old has also played for Nairn and ICT.

Archie McPhee - Defender.

Stornoway born defender who is capable of playing left back, left midfield or central midfield. On loan to Elgin City from Ross County and a youngster who possesses outstanding potential with his abundance of energy and good technical ability. Spent most of last season on loan to Forres Mechanics in the Highland league.

David Niven - Defender.

Uncompromising defender who joined the club after a successful loan spell from Ross County. 'Niv' is at his best in the thick of a physical game, putting his tackling and physicality to good use.

Jamie Duff - Defender.

Former Inverness and Scotland under-21 defender who made his first-team debut at the Caledonian Stadium early in 2008/09 and went on to make 14 senior starts, while debuting for the national team in November of that season. The management at Elgin have high hopes that Jamie, who has signed a season-long contract for 2009/10, can use his 6'2'' frame to shore up the defence.

Paul Kaczan - Defender.

Kaz is City's club captain and begun his career at Tynecastle as a Hearts youth-teamer. Now 27, he has clocked up over 200 SFL appearances since joining Elgin in 2004. Glasgow-based, and is a model of consistency at centre back for the Black and Whites.

Zander Jack - Defender.

Young defender with a penchant for breaking forward and instigating attacks. Zander is a local 'loon' who has emerged through the youth ranks at Elgin and will look to break into the first team this season.

Barry Wilson - Defender/Midfield.

Ex-Livingston and Inverness midfielder who has signed on at Borough Briggs as player/assistant manager. Ross Jack's right-hand man is now, at 38, in the twilight of his career and has been a regular started at right back. Was part of the Inverness team who overcame Celtic in the famous Scottish Cup win.

Mark Nicolson - Defender/Midfield.

Ex-Ross County man who was one of the top performers for City last season. 'Twiggy' is versatile but regularly operates either as a central defender or midfielder.

Steven Edwards - Defender/Midfield.

Signed from Nairn County and now in his second spell with Elgin City. A former Ross County YTS player, he is keen to prove he can play well at this level.

Daniel Moore - Defender/Midfield.

Came through the youth system at Ross County and played in their first team also had loan spells at Peterhead before joining them on a year’s permanent contract. Great left foot and comfortable at left back, left midfield or as an orthodox left winger. Great deliveries from set plays

Paul McMullan - Defender/Midfield.

Paul signed for City in the January 2012 transfer window. The former Clyde, Berwick Rangers, Hearts, Raith Rovers and Stranraer winger can also play in defence and looks to be an excellent addition to the squad.

Blair Lawrie  - Midfield.

Former Highland League Young Player of the Year, Blair Lawrie joined Elgin on loan from Clachnacuddin during the January 2011 transfer window.

Graeme Beveridge - Midfield.

Trained on a regular basis with Livingston FC as a kid before joining Hibs. Graeme joined Raith Rovers on a full time contract captaining their youth team and progressed through their ranks to play a hand full of first team games. He was released after 3 seasons due to financial restraints at the club.  An athletic box to box midfielder who is equally competent at either full back position.

Ross O'Donoghue - Midfield.

Former Aberdeen youth player who has just signed up for his second spell at Elgin after a time at Dumbarton. A silky and skillful passer of the ball, he is one of the most admired players in the Third Division.

Stuart Leslie - Forward.

Signed from Inverness Clachnacuddin where he spent 2 seasons and won the Highland League Young Player of the Year 2011. Ex Caledonian Thistle FC apprentice where he spent 2 years. Exciting attacking player and comfortable in mid field or as a striker. Quick, athletic, good in the air and a decent finisher.

Craig Gunn - Forward.

Last season's Third Division top scorer, 'Gunny' will be looking to attain even more consistency this season in front of goal. Still young, the former Wick Academy, Ross County and Peterhead striker can prove elusive to defenders and predatory in the penalty area, although many of his strikes come from long range.

Brian Cameron - Forward.

Youthful attacker who first came to prominence last season with a number of senior goals. 'Soapy' is a budding marksman for whom confidence can really raise performance. Elgin knocked back a summer bid for his services and will be hoping he can repay the club with some goals this season.

Jason Crooks - Forward.

Another former Gers youngster. Came to the club on loan from Ross County then signed after impressing in the 2008/09 pre-season games and will be hoping to get in amongst the goals again this season. Very intelligent player who links up well with his team-mates.
