Elgin City conceded a late Nick Ross goal to give Caley Thistle the win today at Borough Briggs.  Ross Jack played several triallists in the game, notably goalie Neil Duffy who pulled off a few fine saves, also Scott Lawrie and Adam McLeod.  The Moray men held the SPL side to a stale-mate for long periods but ultimately the pressure from the full-time visitors told and they ran out winners in this pre-season friendly.  Terry Butcher previously stated that Elgin City always gave them a hard and today was no exception.
