It was formally announced today that the newco Rangers would assume Stranraer's Third Division fixtures for the 2012/13 season.  Dundee was invited to take Rangers place who are being liquidated with a new company being voted into the Third Division.  Airdrie will take Dundee's place in Division One, with Stranraer moving up to Division Two.

This means that Elgin City will play Rangers at Ibrox on 1st September and then welcome them back to Borough Briggs on 24th November.
