Ross Jack - Manager

Been manager of Elgin City Football Club for the past 3 seasons and took them to the play offs last term.  Ross will be hoping to continue the progression he has made during his time at the club and perhaps taking them another step forward this season. Developing the youngest squad in the division into play-off contenders is an achievement in its self and after the disappointment of missing out last season he will be determined to do better.

Joe Malin - Goalkeeper.

On his third spell on loan with Elgin City FC after released by Ross County in December 2012. Superb shot-stopper, he is still only 24 having started in the youth setup with Celtic.

Stewart Black - Goalkeeper.

Became Elgin City's youngest SFL player when he made his debut two seasons ago as a second half substitute in City’s 5 – 3 win away at Arbroath. A product of the Elgin City FC youth system who is developing into an outstanding keeper.

Sean Crighton - Defender.

Former St. Mirren FC trainee where he spent 3 years as a youth before joining Montrose for 3 seasons. Quick and imposing defender who is also a threat at set plays and will contribute with his share of goals. New addition to the Elgin City squad this season and has signed a two year deal with the Borough Briggs team.

David Niven - Defender.

Uncompromising defender who joined the club after a successful loan spell from Ross County. 'Niv' is at his best in the thick of a physical game, putting his tackling and physicality to good use.

Jamie Duff - Defender.

Former Inverness and Scotland under-21 defender who made his first-team debut at the Caledonian Stadium early in 2008/09 and went on to make 14 senior starts, while debuting for the national team in November of that season.

Paul Kaczan - Defender.

Kaz is City's club captain and begun his career at Tynecastle as a Hearts youth-teamer. Now 28, he has clocked up over 200 SFL appearances since joining Elgin in 2004. Glasgow-based, and is a model of consistency at centre back for the Black and Whites.

Mark Nicolson - Defender/Midfield.

Ex-Ross County man who was one of the top performers for City last season. 'Twiggy' is versatile but regularly operates either as a central defender or midfielder.

Daniel Moore - Defender/Midfield.

Came through the youth system at Ross County and played in their first team also had loan spells at Peterhead before joining them on a year’s permanent contract. Great left foot and comfortable at left back, left midfield or as an orthodox left winger. Great deliveries from set plays

Paul McMullan - Defender/Midfield.

An attacking minded defensive left sided player who has a string of clubs on his CV including Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC and Hearts FC. Joined Elgin City FC in last season’s January transfer window and resigned for another season. Paul’s experience will be an asset in City’s quest to reach the play offs this season.

Ceiran MacLean - Defender/Midfield.

Ceiran has had to bide his time before making his full debut for Elgin City FC. After spending a great deal of games on the bench last season he more than justified his worth by impressing during preseason and was handed his first competitive start against Arbroath in the Ramsdens cup. Very energetic combative player who likes to chip in with his share of goals.

Graeme Beveridge - Midfield.

Trained on a regular basis with Livingston FC as a kid before joining Hibs. Graeme joined Raith Rovers on a full time contract captaining their youth team and progressed through their ranks to play a hand full of first team games. He was released after 3 seasons due to financial restraints at the club.  An athletic box to box midfielder who is equally competent at either full back position.

graemebeveridge_tn

Ross O'Donoghue - Midfield.

Former Aberdeen youth player who is in his second spell at Elgin after a time at Dumbarton. A silky and skillful passer of the ball, he is one of the most admired players in the Third Division.

rossodonoghue_tn

Dennis Wyness - Forward/Midfield.

Another player with vast experience who’s outstanding ability will be hugely influential within the very youthful City squad. Dennis gained legendary status during his time at Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC thanks to his very impressive goal scoring exploits. He also has Hearts and Aberdeen amongst his list of former clubs. Still fit and very enthusiastic and has already opened his competitive goal scoring account with the prospect of more to come.

Stuart Leslie - Forward.

Signed from Inverness Clachnacuddin where he spent 2 seasons and won the Highland League Young Player of the Year 2011. Ex Caledonian Thistle FC apprentice where he spent 2 years. Exciting attacking player and comfortable in mid field or as a striker. Quick, athletic, good in the air and a decent finisher.

stuartleslie_tn

Craig Gunn - Forward.

'Gunny' will be looking to attain even more consistency this season in front of goal. Still young, the former Wick Academy, Ross County and Peterhead striker can prove elusive to defenders and predatory in the penalty area, although many of his strikes come from long range

craiggunn_tn

Brian Cameron - Forward.

Youthful attacker who first came to prominence last season with a number of senior goals. 'Soapy' is a budding marksman for whom confidence can really raise performance. Elgin knocked back a summer bid for his services and will be hoping he can repay the club with some goals this season.

briancameron_tn

Paul Millar - Forward.

Paul's transition from amateur football into the SPL status has been very impressive. The gentle giant has much more to his game that just being an aerial threat. Still in his early twenties Paul combines his football career along with being a RAF service man. Played a major role in helping Elgin City FC reach the 3rd Division play offs last season and will be looking to add to his goal tally this term.
